My journal of my battle with Crohns disease. I have had Crohn's diagnosed since September 2007. In that time I've been through two surgeries, two colonoscopies, and tons of good and bad times. I want to share my experiences with this disorder and hope to hear some feedback from time to time.

More active and healthier me

With my recent commitments to eat better, drink more water, and take probiotics, I have also started going to the gym again. I visit the local Planet Fitness.  I'm not really in need of anything too advanced. I just wanted to start going again because, one, I've been paying for the membership since January.  Two, I wanted to gain a little more energy and strength.  


When I went from 240lbs to 115lbs, along with the weight went a lot of muscle.  I lost a good amount of strength and endurance.  It is something that I have slowly built back up.  Regular life activities and chores have helped that. But now, I am looking for a little bit more muscle and definition.  
When losing that much weight in less that one year, you tend to have some excess skin. There really isn't much, and I think it could be solved by gaining a little muscle.   It's something I am pretty guarded about.  One of those things I always think about when people mention how skinny I am.  "Yep, I'm thin. Let me tell you about the journey."
Hopefully, everything just helps me become a better me.
