My journal of my battle with Crohns disease. I have had Crohn's diagnosed since September 2007. In that time I've been through two surgeries, two colonoscopies, and tons of good and bad times. I want to share my experiences with this disorder and hope to hear some feedback from time to time.

Loving the #GetYourBellyOut Campaign. Keep up the awesome work!

If you follow a lot of IBD, Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis sufferers on Youtube and Twitter, you've probably run across the hashtag GetYourBellyOut.

What is that?  It's an awesome group of people bringing awareness to all forms of IBD.  You will mostly see people bearing their stomachs to show their scars(badges), and ostomy bags.  It is so awesome! These IBD warriors are so brave.  It takes a lot of courage to not be afraid, and not be ashamed.

Crohn's and UC often makes suffers feel soooo self-conscious.  This is bring strength and awareness to IBD.  I hope this get's so much attention.  Maybe this is the IBD ice bucket moment.

Search GetYourBellyOut on twitter, facebook, youtube, and the web.
