My journal of my battle with Crohns disease. I have had Crohn's diagnosed since September 2007. In that time I've been through two surgeries, two colonoscopies, and tons of good and bad times. I want to share my experiences with this disorder and hope to hear some feedback from time to time.

Diet and Crohn's Disease - Gluten Free - Making Cookies -They're Done!

Monday, March 8, 2010
Okay, as you can see in the video below, I baked cookies and they are done. I didn't taste them on video, but I will let you all know what I think.

I love the smell of cookies, and these smelled incredible while they were baking. Toward the end, they smelled like they were burning, but weren't. I took them out and placed them on a cooling rack. To me, the cookies looked just like any other cookie in color and texture.

The only difference to me is when I bit into the cookie. The taste was okay, sort of reminded me of the first time I had a cookie with carob chips. I felt the inside was a little gritty, don't know if that was because of the potato starch, but that the only thing I didn't like.

Like I mentioned in the video, I picked these up at Whole Foods. I would interested in trying a baked treat I try myself. So, if you have any awesome recipes for chocolate cakes, brownies, or CHEESECAKE let me know.

Thanks for reading.
