My journal of my battle with Crohns disease. I have had Crohn's diagnosed since September 2007. In that time I've been through two surgeries, two colonoscopies, and tons of good and bad times. I want to share my experiences with this disorder and hope to hear some feedback from time to time.

An Alternative Way to Give - Crohn's Charity

Thursday, March 11, 2010
I've mentioned before about my online bud @Jason31480 raising money for crohn's disease by participating in the Take Steps for Crohns & Colitis Walk. While I'm sure we would all like to give, we might not have the money at the time.

Of course you could just wait until you get money and then give, but if you are like me, I always forget and less important things seem to come up. That is why I give through my job. They have a system setup with thousands of charities, called The Giving Station, that takes an automatic after tax deduction from paycheck. Since the money comes out before I see it, I don't miss it.

Your job may not have the same thing. If it is a larger company, they will probably have something similar. Check it out.
