My journal of my battle with Crohns disease. I have had Crohn's diagnosed since September 2007. In that time I've been through two surgeries, two colonoscopies, and tons of good and bad times. I want to share my experiences with this disorder and hope to hear some feedback from time to time.

Having Crohn's Disease Symptoms? Please Go To the Doctor

Tuesday, February 16, 2010
Back in 2007 I shared my story about Crohn's Disease. I talked about waiting 5 months, in pain, before I decided to go see the doctor. This was because I was scared.

A lot of people are afraid to go to the doctor when something is bothering them. I just want to tell everyone, that if you are experiencing any symptoms of crohns disease, colitis, or pretty much anything, go to the doctor!

A few reasons why

Better safe than sorry

You can prevent procedures that aren't necessary.

You can fight things before they get worst.

You will feel better knowing what's going on.

I love this post. This is a lesson I've learned as well...don't wait until you are on the floor in pain! It's so much scarier and more painful than it would be if you are proactive and learn what the problem is early on!!
