My journal of my battle with Crohns disease. I have had Crohn's diagnosed since September 2007. In that time I've been through two surgeries, two colonoscopies, and tons of good and bad times. I want to share my experiences with this disorder and hope to hear some feedback from time to time.

Woah slow down!

I have been having a little too much fun in Minneapolis.  When I first arrived, it was just one week after my incision and drainage surgery.  At the time I still was feeling tons of pain, and could barely stand to eat anything. Since then, the pain had dropped to somewhat bearable levels, and I have been eating junk.

That needs to stop.  I need to remember that just because I am away for 16 days, the doesn't mean that I can go crazy with my diet. I have eaten quesadillas, Indonesian food, and everything in between.  It's just so easy to grab something from a restaurant, or get room service, because it's there.

Starting tomorrow, my plan is to try to get my diet back under control, because I'm starting to feel that familiar rumble in my belly.
